The Potters Secret

The Potters had a secret, a big secret. The only people who knew of there secret were Sirius Black, Jamess best friend, And Albus Dumbledore, The headmaster of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After Dumbledore had seen that little Harry Potter was dropped off the Dursleys, he had Rubeus Hagrid, The keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts, Bring him Cassandra Potter Harrys secret twin sister. (Who now prefers to be called Cassy.) Cassy was kept a secret because she had miraculous powers, but she could not control them when she was little. Lilly and James also kept her a secret because if anyone except for various people found out about her Voldemort would surely want to kill her. So they gave Dumbledore instructions to follow if anything ever happened to them he was to take her to an orphanage instead of taking her to the Dursleys. He was also instructed not to tell anyone her last name so that he-who-must-not-be-named could not find her. Dumbledore fallowed all of Lilly and Jamess instructions and left Cassy on the doorstep of a local orphanage with her teddy bear, a gold bracelet with her name engraved on a little heart charm from her father.

Thats where our story unfolds. 10 years later on a bright summers day Cassy awoke to the screams and laughs of the younger children. She tried to remember what she was dreaming about, but she couldnt. All she remembered was someone singing to her, but who would sing to her? Her parents well she didnt really know what had happened to her parents. Miss Weatherby, the orphanage warden, was never given Cassys last name. She told Cassy that she was just left on the orphanages doorstep. She thought about the dream, as she got dressed. Many Questions started forming in her head, why would someone sing to me? Who was it that was singing? Why cant I remember anything else about my dream? She pondered on these questions for a long time before deciding to go downstairs for breakfast.

Cassy went downstairs but was stopped at the entrance of the dinning hall by a tall black haired girl. Hay Cassandra said Prudence Tyler in her most taunting voice. What do you want Prudence? Asked Cassy not vary amused with Prudence. Prudence and Cassy have been rivals ever since Cassy had been left on the doorstep. I just wanted to tell you that you left something at the dinner table last night. Guess what it is? Said Prudence What is it Prudence? asked Cassy Well Ok Ill tell you it is that stupid little gold bracelet of yours Give it here Prudence. No why should I? I think it will fetch a nice price in Diagon Alley. Prudence My Father gave that to me! So what if your Father loved you so much than why did he leave you on the doorstep? Cassy just stared at Prudence how could she answer that Question. She didnt know why her parents left her on the doorstep of the orphanage. She had often thought about them, and why they had left her here. But her mind came to a lot of conclusions like did they just not love me so they just left me on the nearest orphanage doorstep. But another question would always pop up. Like than why didnt they tell Ms. Weatherby my last name? And she would try to answer that question. And it usually came to did they leave me here to protect me from something. Cassandra what is with you? Are you ever going to answer me? said Prudence What does it matter to you Prudence. I just want it back. Answered Cassy getting agitated Fine Said Prudence with a sigh. Cassy reached out her hand for her bracelet, but Prudence didnt give it to her. Prudence stop playing games with me. Ill give it to you if your friend Matt gives me all of the chocolate frogs he buys today in Diagon Alley. I dont think I can convince him to give them to you. Alright then Ill just But whatever Prudence was going to do Cassy never found out, just then the shrill sharp voice of Miss Weatherby came tumbling down the stairs. CASSDNDRA THE HALLYWELLS ARE HERE TO SEE YOU! COMING MISS WEATHERBY! Cassy yelled back. Cassy had never been called to Miss Weatherbys office. As Cassy walked by Prudence the bracelet flouted into Cassy outstretched hand.

Cassy ran up the stairs to a large bear statue. Miss Weatherby wanted to see me. Cassy said to the bear. What is your name?" Answered the statue Cassy I mean Cassandra. Enter. Said the statue, Cassy was just about to say were when the bears mouth opened vary wide revealing a large wooden door.

She knocked on the door three times. Come in Cassandra. Said Miss Weatherby from inside her office. Cassy opened the door and walked in. Cassandra do you remember Mr. Calvin and Mrs. Tory Hallywell? asked Miss Weatherby Yes I think so. Said Cassy Well Cassandra Im pleased to tell you that the Hallywells would like to adopt you. WHAT! Yelled Cassy Okay now that you have been informed Turning to Mr. Hallywell lets get down to business. All you need to do is sign these papers. Said Miss Weatherby as she handed Mr. Hallywell a small stack of papers. Sign here and here and Mrs. Hallywell sign here. Thank you. That was the last of them. Now when will you be picking her up? asked Miss Weatherby. I think we will pick her up Monday morning. Said Mr. Hallywell Oh no dear I have a meeting at the Ministry Monday morning. Said Mrs Hallywell, Then we will pick her up Monday afternoon. All right then we will see you on Monday. Said Miss Weatherby Well Tory we best be off.

Good bye Cassan Mr. Hallywell Please call me Cassy. All right then good bye Cassy. Good bye Cassy. Said Mrs. Hallywell, Good bye Mr. and Mrs. Hallywell I will see you on Monday. Said Cassy and she walked over and opened the door for them.

After the Hallywells left Miss Weatherby Said Cassy you may go back down stairs the house elves should have just put out Breakfast. Oh And tell Pippin that I need to see him. And tell Periwinkle to bring my breakfast up here. I will Miss Weatherby. Thank you Cassy.

Cassy walked out the door and through the bears mouth. She ran down the stairs to the kitchen. Pippin are you in here? Called Cassy, Of course Im here Miss Cassy. Came a squeaky voice at Cassys side. Oh Pippin dont startle me like that. Pippin truly sorry Miss Cassy. Said Pippin Pippin where is Periwinkle? Periwinkle in the Kitchen cooking lunch. Ok well he needs to take Miss Weatherbys breakfast upstairs to her office and she needs to see you upstairs Pippin. Alright Miss Cassy. Tell Miss Weatherby Pippin will be in her office soon. Otay. Okay Pippin I will tell her for you. Tanky tanky Miss Cassy.

After Cassy left the Kitchen she went over to the fireplace and grabbed a small vase. She reached in and took a pinch of the glowing contents. She through the powder in to the fire, as the flames turned bright purple. Yes Cassy, What do you want. Said Miss Weatherby How did you know it was me? asked Cassy. Cassy you are the only one in this orphanage, except for myself, who can do magic and is capable of using the Fire-Phone. And I dont think I would be calling myself now would I? Oh well Pippin said he will be there as soon as he can. Thank you Cassy now go get something to eat before the breakfast dishes get collected for cleaning. Okay Miss Weatherby. Good Bye. Good Bye Cassy. Cassy took another pinch of the glittering powder and through it into the flames. As the fire died back down to its original size Cassy walked into the largest and most beautiful room in the orphanage. As Cassy was starting to eat her breakfast a loud scream came from behind her. CASSY! it was Piper Miller, Cassys best friend. Cassy there you are Jake Peterson said Miss Weatherby wanted to see you in her office. Yes she did. Well what did she want? she just wanted to inform me that the Hallywells want to adopt me. WHAT!!! No you cant. No they cant. It is just not possible. They cant I mean what if I get adopted by people that live half way across the world and I dont end up going to Hogwarts?! Piper what do you think the chances are of that happening? I dont know but it is possible. Piper just calm down presides there is no fact that says that we are going to be in the same house. Cassy dont say that I mean we will end up in the same house I just have a feeling that we will end up in the same house. Okay Whatever Piper. Im not leaving yet today is Friday they arent coming to pick me up until Monday. So I get to spend the weekend with you. Now will Sit down and eat breakfast with me please. Alright Cassy, What is for breakfast?

Cassy and Piper had gotten through pancakes, beacon, and eggs without Piper getting all worked up about something when Cassy wha what if those people are Muggles? Said Piper sounding vary worried this time. Piper dont be ridiculous why on earth would two Muggles be at a wizarding orphanage. Okay good point. Said Piper. Hay you two how about a game of Exploding Snap? Said a voice from behind them. It was one of the Thatcher twins, the twins are a year younger than Cassy and Piper. The twins have dark brown hair and blue eyes. Hay Matt Im not Matt Im Whit. Oh sorry Whit. Said Cassy That is alright Cassy. Whit or Whitley was the oldest of the twins. So do you want to play a game of Exploding Snap or not? asked Whit Alright why not if you want to get your butt kicked. Said Cassy Vary funny Cassy, sure you will beat me at Snap when pigs fly. Ill be right back I left the cards in my trunk. Alright we will meet you in the Common Room. Okay.

Cassy and Piper got up and headed to the Common Room where they could wait for Whit. Wile they were walking down one of the many corridors a voice rang out from behind them. Cassy, Piper wait up. It was Whit or at least they though it was Whit. Wow Whit that was fast. Said Piper Im Matt not Whit. Speaking of Whit were is he. We are going to meet him in the Common Room to play a game of Snap before we leave for Diagon Ally. Oh well Ill come with you then. Okay The three of them walked down a couple flights of stairs and down another corridor before they reached the Common Room. They walked in and found a table that was unoccupied and waited for Whit.

OkayIhavethecardsohhayMatt. Hay Whit what did you do run a marathon? No I was trying to hurry so we could play a couple of games before lunch. Oh well can I play to? Yes of course you can only on one condition What Cassy? We dont play for money. Why not? Because last time you played for money you lost everything but your underwear. No Whit that was you. No Matt I let you borrow Money so you could save your dignity, but no you had to shake me down to my last Knut. Said Whit as he started to deal out the cards. Whitley Matthew Stop your bickering there is no reason to fight over it now that is in the past what is done is done. My goodness Im glade I dont have a twin. Sure but at least we have each other and our parents did not put just put one of us in here. Said Matt Thanks Matt I really appreciate you talking like that in front of me. Said Cassy sounding mad Sorry Cassy excuse my Brothers rudeness he forgets how touchy you are about family talk. Oh that makes me feel a lot better Whit. I here them I here them all behind my back theyll say something like Oh look there goes poor Cassandra no one knows if she even has a family. Cassy I didnt mean it like that. Well it sure sounded like it Matt. Said Cassy as she through her cards on the table and stormed off to the dormitories.

When Cassy reached her dormitory she decided that she would start packing her things so she would be ready for the move to the Hallywells house on Monday. As she started to pack her things into a small suitcase, that Miss Weatherby gave her, there came a knock at the door. Piper go away I dont want to talk to you right now. Cassy will you at least listen to what I have to say; you dont have to let me in if you dont want to. Alright you can come in if you want to. Said Cassy, Piper came in and sat on Cassys bed. Cassy Im really sorry about what happened down in the Common Room. It was really rude of Matt and Whit I guess they werent thinking. You know how they always forget that no one knows who, where or even if your parents are alive. It would be a lot easier if someone knew your last name. I know Piper I guess it is just so hard for you and the twins to realize what is like to not know who you are and who your family is. Piper I sometimes wake up from a dream and I cant remember what it was about. I can only remember someone singing to me and I dont even know who it is. It may sound like it is not that bad but it is horrible. It is really hard to wake up in the morning and not be in your own home but in an orphanage and you cant remember what your house or your parents look like. Said Cassy as her eyes began to tear up. Cassy Im so sorry I did not realize it. Piper walked over to Cassy and gave her a hug. Cassy what is that? asked Piper pointing at a patched and tattered head. Oh that is Patches. Patches, who or what is Patches. He was my vary first teddy bear. I think that my mother made him. Oh well Im really sorry I mean it was rude of the three of us to say something like that in front of you, but Cassy Im really going to miss you and I dont want us to be in a fight right before you leave. Said Piper, Cassy grabbed Patches and used here powers to make her bed. Cassy dont use your powers remember what Fudge said. Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic, had come to the orphanage six years ago and informed Cassy and Miss Weatherby that if Cassy was ever caught using her powers by the ministry she would not be able to go to Hogwarts. Cassy shall we go down stairs I think the house elves just set lunch out. Alright Piper I need to apologize to Matt and Whit for yelling at them.

Cassy and Piper walked down the corridor and down stairs to the dinning hall. Where they found Matt and Whit sitting at a table eating there lunch. Hay Whit, Hay Matt. Said Piper Hay Piper. The twins said in unison. May we sit down? What do you mean we oh. Said Matt Are you mad at me? No where did you get that idea? said Matt Come on Cassy how could we get mad at you? said Whit. Matt, Whit Im really sorry. I cant believe I would do something like that I just flipped out and I didnt even realize it. Said Cassy Cassy you dont have to apologize it is our fault not yours we were the ones who didnt catch ourselves until it was too late. Said Matt Matt for such a Nut you are pretty smart. So Im a smart-nut. Yep you shore are just subtract the word smart and you got it. Said Piper Piper that was harsh and I compliment you on it. Whit! said Matt. Lets stop fighting and eat. Im starved. Alright Miss Cassy the Peace-Keeper. Said Matt Ha, Ha, very funny Matt.

After they had watched Matt stuff himself full, the decided that it was time to get their money for there Friday trip to Diagon Ally. Cassy, how much money do you have? Twenty-four Galleons and three Sickles. And how much do you have? I have thirteen Galleons, thirty-four Sickles, and fourteen Knuts. What are you going to buy? Some new robes mine are starting to get some fringe at the bottom. As Cassy and Piper put everything back into their dresser someone knocked on the dormitory door. Cassy, Piper are you ready to go downstairs. Yes we are Matt. Piper and Cassy walked down the small corridor to the Large Fireplace that Cassy had used earlier that day to talk to Miss Weatherby. As they approached Miss Weatherby was telling the younger kids who were now able to go to the Ally how they are to act and all of the other rules. Ok lets see lets start. Ok When I call your Name I would like you to come up here and take a pinch, just a pinch, of the Floo Powder, Then throw it into the flames and say clearly: Diagon Ally. Alright lets start with Whitley Thatcher. Im not Whit Im Matt. Oh sorry Matthew then you may go first. Thank you Miss Weatherby. Said Matt as he walked up to the large fireplace and took some of the glittering powder from Miss Weatherby and through it into the flames and yelled Diagon Ally! as clear as he could. Then emerald flames engulfed Matt and he vanished. Whit went next then Piper and a couple of other people before it was Cassys turn. When Miss Weatherby called Cassys name: Cassandra you may go now. Thank you Miss Weatherby. She walked over to the fireplace as Matt had done and took a pinch of Floo Powder and walked into the fireplace and threw the powder into the flames that liked her legs but did not burn. Diagon Ally! she shouted. As soon as the flames turned emerald and engulf her as they had done to Matt she was sucked into the green flames and started to spin until she came to a stop at the entrance of Diagon Ally Ouch. Said Cassy as she hit her head with a hard thump on the cobble stone ground. Are you Okay? Asked Matt, Whit and Piper in unison yes Im alright. Said Cassy rubbing her head.

After everyone had arrived in the entrance gate Miss Weatherby told everyone to meet back at Flourish and Blots (the Book store) at 6:00 to go back to the orphanage to eat dinner. Cassy. Said Piper What? Lets go to Ollivanders. Why? Oh yea before I went up to talk to you Miss Weatherby said that the people that I stayed with a couple of weeks ago, the Rosemarys, wanted to adopt me isnt that great! Yes it is Piper now I dont have to worry about you during the break before we go to Hogwarts. Whatever Cassy, but can we go to Ollivanders before we go to Madam Malkins? Alright, that is fine with me. They walked down the cobbled street and past many different shops for all sorts of things. But Cassy was most interested in all the activity that was going on in front of the Quality Quidditch Supplies shop. As her and Piper neared the shop Cassy had anticipated on seeing what all of the young witches and wizards were peering at, but she could not see threw all of the children.

Finally they reached Ollivanders shop; they stared at the old and grimy shop for a Moment before entering. As they entered the dusty shop they looked all around the large room, which had piles upon piles of long thin boxes, for the salesperson. Suddenly as if he were part of the wall itself an old man stepped out of the shadows. Good afternoon Ladies. May I help you? he asked politely Yes, you must be Mr. Ollivander. Yes I am Mr. Ollivander, and who might you young ladies be? And and where are your parents? he asked Piper and Cassy with a puzzled look on his face. Well Im Piper MillI mean Rosemary, and my parents well, my parents worked for the Ministry when He-who-must-not-be-named was at the height of his power and well since my father was an aurora you know who had sent a Death eater to my house and it took both my Mothers and my Fathers soles. So I was sent to an orphanage. So I used to be Piper Miller but now people called the Rosemarys are going to adopt me. Said Piper, Cassy was amazed she had never told anyone except for her and the twins about her parents before. Okay and who are you? Im Cassandra but please call me Cassy. And what is your last name? Umm well sir wait a seconded you wouldnt happen to be related to Lilly Potter? Actually sir I dont know who my family is sir I was left on the door step of the orphanage. But Im being adopted by Calvin and Tory Hallywell. Why do you ask if I was related to Lilly Potter? Well you look like her when she was your age and buying her first wand. oh no one has ever told me I look like her before. Said Cassy well now who is going to go first? I am Mr. Ollivander; Cassy isnt getting a wand today. Okay, well first I need to know which hand is your wand hand? Said Mr. Ollivander My left hand. Said Piper alright next I am must take the proper measurements. Said Mr. Ollivander as he pulled out an old and vary tattered tape measurer Now Miss Rosemary, every wands core is made from a powerful magical substance, we use three different substances they are: Unicorn hairs, Phoenix tail feathers, and the heartstrings of Dragons. No two wands are the same just as no to Unicorns, Phoenixes, or Dragons are the same, you will also find that you will never get such good results as you would with your wand with another Wizards wand. And of course the wand chooses the Witch or Wizard it is not clear why but the Witch or Wizard doesnt chose the wand. Said Mr. Ollivander as the tape measurer finished taking measurements and folded itself up and fell to the floor. Mr. Ollivander pick it up and put it back in his pocket. Then he walked into the back of the shop and brought out a long thin purple box he opened it and drew out a wand. Ten and a quarter inches made of ash and Dragon heartstring. He said and handed it to Piper. She gave it a small wave and Mr. Ollivanders desk lamp blew up into a thousand shards of glass and copper. Well lets try another one shall we. Said Mr. Ollivander I think I have just the one. He said and went over to a tall ladder with wheals and pushed it to the opposite side of the room. He climbed to the top selves of wands and grabbed the box in the far left hand corner and handed Piper another wand. Beachwood Phoenix tail feather eight and a half inches swishy. This time Piper gave it a wave and Gold and Red sparks shot out of the tip of the wand and into the air. There we go that will be seven Galleons. Piper paid Mr. Ollivander and her and Cassy said good bye. Good bye Ladies. Said Mr. Ollivander as they left the shop.

Cassy and Piper walked down the cobbled street for a wile when Cassy remembered that she wanted to buy new robes. So she and Piper decided to go to Madam Malkins Robes for All Occasions. As they walked in they saw a little witch dressed in all pale green. Hello young ladies, Hogwarts? Errno not yet I would just like some plane light blue robes please. Said Cassy Alright wait here for a Moment. Said Madam Malkin. Fifteen minuets later Cassy came out of the shop with brand new light blue robes. Goodness gracious Cassy we have five minuets to get all the way across the ally to Flourish and Blots! said Piper as she looked at her watch Then we had better get moving!

Chapter 2 Cassys New Home

On the Monday that the Hallywells were to come and pick up Cassy Miss Weatherby woke her up early so that she could get all of her things packed and to say her good byes. Well Cassy I never really thought that you were really going to get adopted. Said the hissing voice of Prudence. Prudence you are just jealous that Cassy actually found people who want to adopt her. Said Piper from behind Cassy. Thanks Piper. No problem I mean who would want to adopt something that ugly. Piper that is enough we arent going to sink down to her level. Yes I guess you are right. She isnt worth the breath to talk about her. Said Cassy Hay Hally whatever your new, I mean only last name is. Just so you know I will see you at Hogwarts my parents want me back. So what Prudence I know for a fact that you are not going to be in my house so it is not a big deal. Said Cassy. Cassy and Piper walked into the Dinning Hall to have breakfast, it didnt surprise Cassy or Piper in fact that they were the first to arrive. Miss Cassy what are doing out here so early in the morning? said a squeaky voice at Cassy side Ah oh hi Pippin. What oh why am I out here so early? Well today is Monday and the Hallywells are coming to pick me up today. Today, Monday already, oh no Pippin isnt packed at all! said Pippin as he ran franticly back into the kitchen. I wonder what he meant by he wasnt packed? Asked Piper I dont know Piper maybe he is going some where? Said Cassy Maybe you are right. Piper I forgot to ask you, when are the Rosemarys picking you up? Oh today right after you. Cassy and Piper waited for Pippin to come out and finish putting out the breakfast meal, as he always did, but Periwinkle came out and finished for him instead. Periwinkle. Said Cassy suddenly struck by an idea. Yes Miss Cassy, what do you want with Periwinkle? Periwinkle where is Pippin? Pippin, well Pippin told Periwinkle that he is leaving the orphanage with his master. Who, who is Pippins master? Periwinkle doesnt know Miss Cassy. Oh well thank you Periwinkle. Said Cassy starting to eat.

After breakfast Cassy went over to the big fire place where they had used the Floo powder to get to Diagon Ally. As she had done the day that she had done to inform Miss Weatherby that Pippin was going to see her the day that the Hallywells had came to sign the papers of adoption to adopt Cassy, took a pinch of the golden powder and threw it into the fire. Yes Cassy what do you want? Well Miss Weatherby I need to talk to you about Pippin. Well what about him? I was wondering who his master is that he is leavening with today? Well Cassy I was hoping to leave this as a surprise for you but see when you were left on the door step Pippin was left with you. I was going to tell you that he was yours before you left, but well I guess you got there before I could tell you. What he is mine, he is my house elf? Yes, and naturally he is to go with you to the Hallywells. OhWell Im going to go help him get his things together. alright Cassy. Ohbefore you go see Pippin did you bring your things down from the dormitories? Yes Miss Weatherby I did.

Pippin are you in here? Said Cassy from within the kitchens. Yes Miss Cassy Pippin is right here. Pippin do you need any help with anything? No Miss Cassy. Well Pippin that is not the only question I want to ask you. I was wondering since Miss Weatherby says you are my House elf I was wondering, could tell me who my parents are or were? Oh but Miss Cassy Pippin was told never to tell never. But why because Miss Cassy has to be protected, nether you or anyone should know who you are. But why? Miss Cassy will find out in dew time. what do you mean? Pippin means that you will find out soon. thank you Pippin for everything. Youre welcome Miss Cassy.

At 11:30 Cassy started to go around the orphanage and started to tell them good bye. At 11:55 she had told everyone good bye except for Piper. So Cassy walked around to find her. CASSY! yelled Miss Weatherby THE HALLYWELLS ARE HERE! Oh no thought Cassy I wont be able to tell Piper good bye! Cassy thought that Piper was avoiding her because she didnt want to see Cassy leave. Cassy walked back to the front door where Mr. and Mrs. Hallywell were standing. Mr. Hallywell was already holding Cassys things and Mrs. Hallywell was signing a release paper for Miss Weatherby. Well Cassy are you ready? asked Mr. Hallywell Umm said Cassy looking around for Pipers face. Umm yes Im ready to go. CASSY WAIT! Said someone from the staircase. Cassy instantly turned around and saw Piper sprinting down the stairs sending glittering tears behind her. CASSY DONT LEAVE! Arent you going to say good bye to me? Piper, I couldnt find you. I was going to say good bye but I couldnt find you. Well now you are here and well good bye Piper. Said Cassy as she stretched out her hand to shake Pipers hand, But Piper, who was still crying, grabbed Cassy and they hugged. Cassy it is time to go. Said Mrs. Hallywell alright. Said Cassy as she wiped the tears off of her cheeks and walked out the door with Pippin and her new parents.

Umm... Mr. Hallywell I know this question may seem odd but, umm what do I call you know? What do you mean Cassy? Well do I call you Mum and Dad or Calvin and Tory? Well you may call us what ever you fell comfortable with. Said Mrs. Hallywell Do you mind, I mean I have never called anyone Mum and Dad before, so would it be alright with you if I called you Mum and Dad? No not at all. They said. What are we waiting for? Well since your mother works at the Ministry they have provided us with a car for the day. Said her dad oh ah there it is Calvin. Said her mum. A dark green car pulled up in front of them and a driver got out and grabbed the suitcase from Cassys father and put it into the trunk of the car. Then he opened the door for them and Cassys Mum and Dad stept in. Cassy what are you waiting for get in. said her Dad Well umm see Dad I have never ridden in a car before. Said Cassy oh there is nothing to worry about, just get in and you will be fine. Said her Mum Alright. Said Cassy and she stept in the old car. The car started and they began to drive away from the only home Cassy could remember having. Cassy who was that girl that you hugged before we left? That was my best friend Piper. Said Cassy I have seen her before. You have mum where? A couple of weeks ago she was at our next door neighbours' house. Who are your next door neighbours? Mr. and Mrs. Rosemary. Cassy followed her Mum up two flights of stairs to the third floor of the house. Go right threw that door and you will find your bed and your bedroom furniture. Said her Mum pointing to a door. Cassy walked threw the door to find a large oak wood bed and matching furniture. Wow, its beautiful. I have never seen Oak wood shimmer like this wood does. Well that is because the furniture at the orphanage was probably made by Muggles so that Miss Weatherby didnt have to pay that much to furnish the place. Cassy finished the rest of the day organizing and putting things away in her new room. Before she climbed into bed she went to Pippins room and told him good night. Pippin Yes Miss Cassy. After the rather large man along with the skinny black haired boy left, Cassy, Piper, and the Twins went into the large shop. As they entered Cassy noticed that all of the walls were covered with Owl cage, upon Owl cage. May I help you children? Asked a squawky voiced witch from behind the front counter. Any specific breed that you are looking for? Um not really. Said Piper and the Twins And what about you? said the Witch staring directly at Cassy, Well, umm I was wondering if you had any Snowy Owls? said Cassy, Well dear the boy, I mean to say, Harry Potter, just took the last full grown Snowy Owl. But we do have one hatchling left. Said the Witch as she beckoned Cassy to follow her into the back room behind the counter. Now my dear you must know that this Owl just hatched at midnight today. Said the Witch as she grabbed a small cage and lead Cassy even further into the back room. Ah here we are dear a baby Snowy Owl. Now remember this owl has to be kept warm and well feed for the next month. After a months time your owl should grow a little, but not fully it will take at least another month or two before she is fully grown. After a month though, you need to find another owl to teach her how to fly. Do you understand? Yes, I understand perfectly. Said Cassy, How much do I owe you for her? Well dear I usually sell Snowy Owls at about 8 Galleons and 5 Sickles. But since you are buying this Owl as she is still quite young I will sell her to you for 4 Galleons 2 Sickles and 3 Knuts will do. Cassy handed the Witch her money and walked off with her new owl raped in a blanket and cradled like a baby in her right arm and her cage in Cassys other hand.
